Patterns galore

I'm drooling: Robert Kaufman's Quilt Patterns, I especially like Color Theory and Kasuri Gesiki.

I've read your whole blog, checked on your works and I would only like to say that you are doing a great job!! I enjoyed each one of your posts and will return to see all the lovely things you are still to make.

By the way, I am a Brasilian (54 years old) that moved to the USA almost ten years ago. I also fell in love with the art of quilting and I am on my second queen size one.

I wish you all the best!

I agree. I just finished the top of Spoken without a word, it is on my blog. It is also on the same link you posted. They have nice patterns.

hi dorothee,

for the quilt a long, I would suggest having about 4 yards of backing fabric (I am estimating very high...) and for the other fabrics I would think that 12 fat quarters would be a great plenty. but then again, it all depends on how you choose to finish the quilt too. I hope that helps!
