Easter Decorations: Paper Balls

It doesn't happen very often that I sit down with my girls and do a spot of crafting, sadly, because we all enjoy it very much. Strangely, Easter seems to bring out the Crafty Mum in me ... so we sat down and made paper balls ... good fun was had by all.

For reference, this was last year's craft: Happy Easter 2010

Kids Project: Butterfly lanterns

Check out this great lantern tutorial by Jan of Bemused - click on image to be taken to it. That's definitely something I will make with my girls this summer!

Happy Easter

Based on the Moda Bake Shop tutorial for fabric covered bowls and right in time for Easter, the girls and I covered styrofoam eggs in left over fabric using acrylic glue.

It was a relatively low-mess, quick and fun project with lovely results and a good way to use up some of the fabric snippets I save for them to play with.

Have a happy Easter weekend, if you are so inclined!

PS: as I am nearing my 500th post, I will hunt through my stash and have a give-away very soon!

The Moda Bakeshop has a really cool Easter project which I plan on doing with my girls. Check it out!

All I need is GLUE and brushes.
