Based on the Moda Bake Shop tutorial for fabric covered bowls and right in time for Easter, the girls and I covered styrofoam eggs in left over fabric using acrylic glue.
It was a relatively low-mess, quick and fun project with lovely results and a good way to use up some of the fabric snippets I save for them to play with.
